The coroner’s jury ruled the October 27th death of Hershall Rose as a suicide after he was found dead sitting in his car in his closed garage from affixiation [asphyxiation] due to carbon monoxide poisoning.
While the car was believed to have been running for sometime filling both the garage and adjoining home with fumes, the ignition key was in the ‘off’ position when Rose was found. Relatives said Rose had a habit of sitting for long periods in his car.
The jury was told while Rose was on an anti-depressant drug, but no note was found.
