This is something that has been bugging me for a while. A while ago I started taking prozac, and I had so many side effects. Besides feeling more depressed and having crazy thoughts, I also got confused easily and found it difficult to think properly or concentrate. I had trouble making small connections in my head. 3 1/2 months later I started to stop, 4 months later I stopped completely. Now, 4 months after I stopped completely, I still feel like I can’t think as well as I used to before. I don’t think as clearly or quickly anymore, and find that it takes more time to understand something (reading an article twice, taking 2 hours to study something that should be 1 hour). I’m wondering if it’s possible that I’m still feeling an effect of the drug, or it’s permanently damaged my head in someway. I like to think positive and think that maybe I’m just out of practice because I spent so much time not being able to think that now I need some brain training to get it back in gear…but would like to know if it’s possible.
