NORMAN, Okla. — A man accused of killing another driver after an apparent road rage incident pleaded not guilty Friday to first-degree murder.
David Burton is charged with the killing of Timothy Moore. Police said Burton shot Moore to death at a Norman intersection in February 2004.
Burton was in court on Friday to enter his plea. His lawyers say Burton was suffering from major depression and was taking an anti-depressant at the time of the shooting.
Attorneys said Burton’s trial could start sometime this year.
