A federal judge today agreed to return $25,000 to a former Pittsburgh strip club owner.
Curt Kosow, the former owner of Bare Elegance in the Strip District, argued his bond money should be returned because he did not intentionally miss the reading of the verdict in his drug and tax case on Nov. 30 2007.
U.S. marshals found Kosow passed out in his North Shore apartment. Kosow said his antidepressant medication caused a drug-induced slumber.
Kosow is serving 41 months in prison for his conviction on tax charges. A jury found him not guilty of allegations he was involved in dealing cocaine and Ecstasy out of his business.
