I might leave my wife for a woman with whom I've become infatuated
Post your advice below. The best responses will be published in G2 next Friday
I'm 29 and have been with my wife for 10 years. We got married last year. Just before Christmas I met a girl on a night out. I ended up at her flat and we kissed. I couldn't get her out of my mind and tracked her down. We agreed to be friends, but met and kissed again. Eventually we had sex. I was in constant contact with her for around four months. She's 24, is getting married herself and has cut off contact. I think I've fallen in love with her.
I'm on antidepressants and have told my wife that I'm thinking about leaving. She loves me deeply but has seen what I've been through. I don't want to hurt my wife but it feels wrong to be with her when I want to be with someone else. If I leave her I'll be single, but really all I want is to be with the other woman. What should I do?
