MARLBOROUGH — Police arrested a Marlborough man Tuesday suspected of selling drugs out of his Lakeside Avenue apartment.
Konstantin G. Berger, 21, was arraigned in Marlborough District Court yesterday on more than a dozen charges. Berger posted the $3,000 bail ordered by Judge Sarah Singer, court records said.
Police obtained a search warrant for Berger’s apartment at 45 Lakeside Ave. based on an ongoing investigation into him selling drugs from the home, Detective Martha Shea said.
Police searched the home Tuesday afternoon and found marijuana and several prescription drugs that Berger had without a prescription – Adderall, Naltrexone, Celexa, Seroquel, Ambien and Desyrel, Shea said.
Berger also had cash, packaging material and a canister of Mace, for which he did not have a license, police said.
Berger is charged with five counts of possession of a Class E drug, two counts of possession with intent to distribute a Class E drug, possession of a Class B drug, possession with intent to distribute a Class B drug, possession of a Class D drug, possession with intent to distribute a Class D drug, conspiracy to violate state drug laws and possession of a firearm/ammunition without a license.
Berger is due back in court Feb. 4.
