Buzz up!
The death of a Mt. Lebanon man whose body was found Wednesday in a wooded area near the Mt. Lebanon Golf Course was ruled a suicide by the Allegheny County Medical Examiner’s Office.
Michael Platts, 49, was last seen alive Monday when he left his home in the 500 block of Milbeth Drive. A relative searching for Platts found his body yesterday at 9:30 a.m., police said
The medical examiner ruled that Platts, who had a history of memory loss, anxiety, depression and seizures, died of self-inflicted cuts to the neck. Police, who had been searching for Platts, said he had not taken his medication before he disappeared.
