SANDUSKY, Ohio (AP) — Police in northern Ohio say a mother who had just dropped off her daughter at school was pulled over after leaving the parking lot and charged with operating a vehicle under the influence.

An officer says he saw the woman swerving several times after driving away from Perkins High School near Sandusky.

Police say the woman was lethargic and failed field sobriety tests after being stopped Monday. She also was charged with child endangering.

The Sandusky Register (http://bit.ly/1i1dLt9 ) reports the woman said she had a prescription for anti-depressants and that police later found she had two more prescriptions for pain pills and patches.
