Selfless son paid off debts and called his mother before train ‘suicide’ — (The Evening Standard)

Abdu Hemmaida, 21, died when he was hit by a train at Romford station, minutes after trying three times to make a final call to his mother.

Samia Bushra, a GP at Becontree Medical Centre in Dagenham, told how her son settled outstanding bills so his family would not be left to pick up his debts.

Dr Bushra, 50, said: “He was such an unselfish person who would always help other people.”
