Another arrest for ex-Marine from Cutchogue
The troubled ex-Marine who received the Purple Heart for his service in the Iraq War has yet another arrest to add to his lengthy rap sheet.

Police said that the truck, which was equipped with an OnStar tracking system, was reported stolen around 8 p.m by its owner, who was eating dinner at Michelangelo pizzeria and had left the keys in the truck. The security system alerted officers to a possible location of the stolen vehicle in the Nassau Point area, according to police
Officers spotted the truck driven by Mr. DiPillo leaving a driveway at 8520 Nassau Point Road, said police. Mr. DiPillo was also found to have an outstanding bench warrant from the Suffolk County Police Department, according to police.
A Marine from 2002 to 2004, Mr. DiPillo has a lengthy arrest record in New York that dates back to a drug possession arrest in the summer of 2006. He was arrested last January for endangering the welfare of a child and criminal mischief, according to the Suffolk district attorney's office, and was charged with criminal contempt last February for allegedly violating an order of protection.
Last March, Mr. DiPillo was accused of smashing a window at Robert's Jewelers in Southold and was later caught driving while impaired by drugs. He was charged with attempted burglary and several other crimes.
Idalia Burt, Mr. DiPillo's live-in girlfriend. said last April that her boyfriend was taking high dosages of a variety of medications, including anti-depressant Venlafaxine; Xanax, an anti-anxiety drug; and Depakote, an anti-convulsant. She said she firmly believes that Mr. DiPillo is mentally unstable because of his experience in Iraq.
