The actress and model was best  known for movies such as ‘Bachelor Party’ (1984), and for starring in Whitesnake videos in the ’80s (she was married to the band’s singer, David Coverdale). Kitaen passed away on May 7, 2021.

Kitaen’s autopsy revealed that she died of dilated cardiomyopathy (a type of heart disease). Plus, numerous medications were found in her body (mostly antidepressants and anti-anxiety meds), including mirtazapine, mirtazapine metabolite, alprazolam, acetaminophen, pregabalin, and hydrocodone.

Kitaen, known for her roles in a number of ‘80s music videos, died on May 7. A spokesperson for the Orange County Sheriff’s Department in California confirmed to Fox News on Wednesday that the star’s cause of death was dilated cardiomyopathy. The manner of death was ruled natural.

According to the spokesman, other significant conditions included: mild coronary atherosclerosis; mirtazapine, mirtazapine metabolite, alprazolam, acetaminophen, pregabalin, and hydrocodone.

“We just want to say thank you for all of you, her fans and her friends, for always showing her such support and love. You gave her life everyday,” their statement said.
