From Staff Reports
A Plano man suspected in a Friday night murder was found dead in a McKinney park just a few hours later.
Michael Muzikar is suspected of killing a visitor to his home in the 6800 block of Hickory Creek about 9:30 p.m. Friday.
Police said Muzikar then confronted his wife and fired at least one shot at her.
“I thought she was hit in the front yard, but apparently he didn’t hit her,” said Terrence Moses, who got out of the way when he saw Muzikar brandishing a weapon. “The ironic thing is, he was the neighborhood watch, crime prevention president.”
Moses said the family had recently reunited after a separation. Muzikar told him he had been taking medication for treatment of depression.
The name of the man killed at Muzikar’s residence was not available.
