An Arab playboy died in a suite at the Dorchester Hotel after a cocaine and cannabis binge, an inquest heard.
Kuwaiti Sultan Aldabbous, 38, was found dead at the Mayfair hotel, where suites cost up to £2,000 a night.
Westminster coroner’s court heard that traces of cocaine, cannabis, rohypnol and antidepressants were in his bloodstream and had been taken in the hours and days before he died.
A lump of cannabis resin and antidepressant tablets were found near his body when police entered his room on May 1.
A man was seen on CCTV with Mr Aldabbous an hour before his death, going in and out of his hotel room, but police have been unable to trace him.
Coroner William Dolman recorded a verdict of misadventure.
