A mother-of-four who died when she fell on to the M1 and was hit by a lorry killed herself, an inquest in Northampton heard.

Mandy Harrison, aged 46, of George’s Drive, Grange Park, died as a result of multiple injuries at Kislingbury on May 21 last year.

The inquest heard she had a history of depression and had taken a large amount of paracetamol as well as the anti-depressant drug Prozac before her death.

Recording a verdict of suicide, Coroner Anne Pember said: “At a time when she was feeling low and depressed, she no longer wished to live.”
