The 53-year-old East Hanover woman whose death prompted a daylong investigation at her Cedar Street home died of accidental fluoxetine intoxication, the medical examiner has determined.

Fluoxetine is used in antidepressants such as Prozac.

A 911 call from a man reporting that the woman was unresponsive brought police to the home at 6:32 a.m. on Oct. 20, investigators have said.

The woman, whose name was not released, was pronounced dead at 9:03 a.m.

Yellow crime scene tape was across the driveway and a police Mobile Command Unit was set up across the street on Cutter Drive into the evening.

The Morris County Prosecutor’s Office said today the case is still under investigation.
