A Pine View resident denied her house was littered with animal feces when paramedics responded to a call there last week.
Heidi Hawkins said Monday she was unconscious from a reaction to her medication late Thursday night.
“My ex-fiancé had just left and I came home to a sink full of dishes and hadn’t changed the cat litter,” she said.
Hawkins said her former beau left the house a mess when he moved out.
She said she is taking Cymbalta and took another medication for back pain, which explained the state she was in on Thursday night.
“I called my mother and she was on her way out to come get my kid,” Hawkins said. “She showed up after the paramedics came.”
Hawkins was released Saturday in lieu of $2,500 bail on a charge of child neglect.
