A Kirkland woman has pled guilty to charges of vehicular homicide, vehicular assault and reckless driving for a fatal DUI collision that happened in August of 2012.
Police said Kelly Ann Hudson, 43, crossed the center line and collided head-on with a car occupied by four people. Joyce Parsons, 81, died of her injuries. Her brother and two out-of-state relatives who were with her in the car were critically injured. Police say Hudson admitted to drinking wine and taking the antidepressant Celexa before getting behind the wheel.
Prosecutors will recommend 11 years when Hudson is sentenced on Nov. 22.
